Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By submitting a store URL for scanning, purchasing a report, or installing our pixel, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What the service does
- Behavioral analytics for e-commerce stores
- One-time €29 scan reports detecting 23 friction patterns across 7 WHY-categories
- Optional free behavioral pixel for live data on stores you operate
3. Pricing and refunds
- €29 per report, charged once. No subscription, no auto-renewal.
- 30-day full refund if the report is not useful for your store. No questions, no forms — just email.
- Refund requests: enrico.boeker@gmx.de. Processed within 5 business days.
4. Acceptable use
- You may scan any e-commerce store you have permission to scan (your own, your client's, with consent).
- You may not use Frictionless to harm competitors (defamation-class use); we reserve the right to refuse service.
- You may not resell our reports as your own without explicit written permission.
- You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our scanning logic.
5. Intellectual property
- The framework (23 patterns, 7 WHY-categories, scoring algorithm) is the IP of Enrico Böker / Frictionless.
- The reports you receive are yours to use freely — share internally with your team, your CRO consultant, your stakeholders.
- You may not republish reports verbatim as your own original analysis. Cite Frictionless as the source.
6. Limitation of liability
Frictionless provides diagnostic information, not guaranteed business outcomes. We are not liable for revenue changes, conversion-rate movements, or business decisions made based on our reports. Maximum liability per customer is limited to the €29 you paid for the report in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence as required under German law.
7. Shopify App Store terms
When you install Frictionless via the Shopify App Store, Shopify's billing terms also apply. We follow Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact) and Shopify's app review policies.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email if you have an account or have purchased a report. Continued use after announced changes means acceptance.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Place of jurisdiction is Hamburg, Germany, subject to mandatory consumer-protection provisions in your country of residence.
